Research
Ecosystem Solutions actively participates in research projects that pursue several lines of inquiry. Intimately linked with our goal to improve habitat, and therefore improve techniques in habitat restoration, our research strives to answer ecological questions concerning the responses of aquatic communities to habitat change.
Change can be restoration, but may also include construction or dredging practices, stream alteration, or basic investigations into differing use of contiguous habitat. Understanding community response to spatial or temporal variability is a vital tool for effective natural resource management.
